A barnstar for you![edit]

The Technical Barnstar
Bei dir gibt es gleich mehrere Barnstars die du meiner Meinung nach verdient hättest, aber dein Schlurcherbot ist phänomenal, der hat mir und andren schon so oft geholfen. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:25, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Adding image hashes via Structured Data[edit]

Hi Schlurcher,

would it be possible to add image hashes via SchlurcherBot? Sometimes they are already contained in the EXIF metadata, and there is this handy property for it P4092. (There is also this perceptual hash thing, probably unrelated)

Does this make sense, and would it be doable? Kristbaum (talk) 09:45, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

+1 If then those image hashes can be retrieved via an API call, it would be a great way to detect duplicate files before uploading them. Beireke1 (talk) 09:51, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm doing this already, please see a recent diff: [1]. I'm even updating this is the file has changed. However, note that I'm currently at letter C and it will take quite some more time to get through all files. Also note that there is a template {{P}} that allows for easy linking of properties, just FYI. --Schlurcher (talk) 20:49, 13 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
