Can we get an update with over 100.000 images. Thanks. -14:25, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Usually I only update it with counts parsed from the database dumps, so that anyone can reproduce the same results. But since there hasn't been any dumps lately and we've had an important milestone, I took a live number from http://toolserver.org/~para/GeoCommons/info.php. Looking good! --Para (talk) 16:56, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Could you please make an update? I believe we have now about 132.000 images. Thanks. --Kolossos (talk) 18:44, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yep, so we do. Done! --Para (talk) 19:32, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hmm nearly a 2 months have passed since the last update, what about a new one ;-) I am interested ? --Aktron (talk) 11:37, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Is it possible to get an update after 6 months. Thanks. --Kolossos (talk) 22:21, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hmm yeah, we have nearly 100 000+ more geocoded pictures from the time that the recent update of this graph was done. --Aktron (talk) 13:07, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

80000 more since the last update 4 months ago. Maybe I should've waited for another 2 to get to that impressive number. ;) --Para (talk) 16:37, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please update. I would like to see the effekt of the mass upload from Geograph.uk. Example. Thanks. --Kolossos (talk) 18:38, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Done. It looks like a sad artificial jump really. The files don't even have the source tag for people to weed them out and improve coordinates. Bah! --Para (talk) 21:28, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Could we get an update please? --Kolossos (talk) 20:38, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yes, we have over 2.9 million now. emijrp (talk) 19:21, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Over 3.5 million total coordinates now. --Dschwen (talk) 17:24, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If MediaWiki would have a d3.js support an update could be so easy... --Kolossos (talk) 20:16, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As of now: 4,391,222 files directly in Category:Media_with_locations. Wow. And there are a lot more photos that could be geolocated, like photos in "category:Parliament building in X". This is getting huge: smartphones + wikidata.--Atlasowa (talk) 10:16, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As of now: 4,922,601 files directly in Category:Media_with_locations. --Atlasowa (talk) 11:38, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Does anybody still have the numbers that are already in the graph? I could make an update, but for that I'd need the old numbers … @Para: , maybe? --El Grafo (talk) 12:34, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Still got it, see below. --Para (talk) 19:12, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In April 2019 we have now 13,581,713 images with geocoordinate https://quarry.wmflabs.org/query/34952 . --Kolossos (talk) 16:34, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In November 2020 we only have 33,825 images in Category:Media_with_locations. I wonder why this has dropped? WT79 (talk) 21:57, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
